Client Value Analyst US law firm | London | Hybrid The Opportunity A leading international law firm is seeking a Client Value Analyst to join its London Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Client Value, this role plays a key part in helping lawyers shape commercially sound, client-focused fee proposals and ensuring matters are managed efficiently and profitably throughout their lifecycle. You'll prepare data-driven fee estimates, analyse alternative fee arrangements, produce budget-to-actual reporting, and support matter profitability reviews. We are seeking a commercially aware, analytical professional who is also a confident communicator and can work with various senior stakeholders across the firm, providing financial and pricing insights. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial models and templates to analyse fee proposals using firmwide metrics. Run profitability and sensitivity analyses to support the relevant departments in evaluating pricing options. Produce internal and external reporting for ongoing matters, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting. Support the implementation of pricing proposals and fee arrangements. Contribute to matter budgeting, automation initiatives and matter management improvements. Build a strong understanding of departments, practice groups and client portfolios to support strategic pricing and planning. Requirements Higher education degree required; Accounting, Finance or Economics strongly preferred. Strong experience in financial analysis or pricing; legal industry experience is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills. Proficient in Excel and relational database systems; SQL and VBA experience desirable. Experience with ChatGPT or generative AI tools is a plus.
