The Role Checkout.com is looking for an enthusiastic Engineer I to join the team responsible for People systems. Their day-to-day focus will be on HCM queries about our People system - Workday. This is an early-career role for someone ready to operate independently with guidance - owning the day-to-day functionality in the core of Workday, rather than only handling basic break-fix work. You'll partner closely with our People Team and global Corporate Technology teams to keep critical data flowing accurately between Workday, our ERP, and the wider Checkout.com tech stack. How You’ll Make an Impact Own the first line support: Be the first line for queries coming into the team, and having the first opportunity to resolve queries. Optimise System Health : Maintain the core Workday HCM platform proactively to reduce system downtime and data errors. Resolve Complex Issues: Move beyond basic break-fix tasks to solve deep day-to-day functional system queries independently. Secure Data Flows: Partner with Corporate Technology teams to ensure flawless
