Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) An exciting opportunity for a compassionate and proactive Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to support survivors of domestic abuse across the Black Country. You will provide safeguarding, advocacy, risk assessment and trauma-informed support within a multi-agency environment. If you’ve also worked in the following roles, we’d also like to hear from you: Domestic Abuse Support Worker, Violence Against Women and Girls Advocate, Family Support Worker, Sexual Violence Support Worker, Domestic Abuse Practitioner, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Support Worker, Violence Against Adults Support Worker, Safeguarding Officer, Community Support Worker, Domestic Abuse Caseworker, MARAC Coordinator, Violence and Abuse Support Worker, Safeguarding Advocate The organisation is looking for a qualified / unqualified IDVA (training may be provided for the right candidate). SALARY: 25,282 to 28,861 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) + Benefits LOCATION: This role will cover Sandwell, Walsall and Dudley areas JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week) Please Note: Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.
