About the Role We are working with a growing organisation seeking an experienced Mid-Level Cyber Security Analyst to join their expanding security function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-4 years' hands-on security experience to take the next step in their career, working across threat detection, incident response, and security operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tooling Support incident response activities, from initial triage through to resolution and reporting Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation with technical teams Assist with security control reviews and audits against frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and Cyber Essentials Contribute to the development and improvement of security policies and procedures Liaise with internal stakeholders and, where required, third-party vendors on security matters Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practice Essential Skills & Experience 2-4 years' experience in a cyber/information security role Working knowledge of SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools Understanding of network security fundamentals and common attack vectors Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Knowledge of relevant frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical risk to non-technical stakeholders Desirable Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH, Cyber Essentials Practitioner) Scripting/automation experience (Python, PowerShell) Exposure to incident response or digital forensics What's on Offer Competitive salary + benefits package Hybrid working Structured career progression and training support Collaborative, supportive team environment
