Principal Civil Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 Are you a Principal Civil Engineer looking for greater influence over projects, people and technical delivery? This Birmingham role offers the opportunity to lead development infrastructure projects while helping shape the continued growth of an established civil engineering team. The Opportunity A growing engineering consultancy is looking for a Principal Civil Engineer to join its Birmingham team. You will lead civil engineering delivery across commercial, education, healthcare, residential and leisure developments, including major multi-million-pound projects. Key Responsibilities * Lead drainage, SuDS, highways and development infrastructure design * Oversee projects from feasibility through detailed design and delivery * Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies * Provide technical review and guidance across the civils team * Manage client relationships, programmes and project delivery * Mentor engineers and technicians * Support the continued development of the civil engineering team Candidate Requirements * Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline * Strong UK development infrastructure consultancy experience * Technical capability across drainage, SuDS and highways * Experience with Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, PDS or Site 3D * Strong project and client management capability * Chartered or working towards Chartership Why Apply?
