A large, well-known charity is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract . Based in Central London with a hybrid working pattern of two days per week in the office , this is an excellent opportunity to support one of the organisation's key fundraising directorates while leading a small team of Finance Business Partners. Please note: The successful candidate must be available to commence the role in October . The key responsibilities of the Senior Finance Business Partner are: Acting as the lead finance partner to a major fundraising directorate, providing insightful financial support to senior stakeholders. Building strong relationships with Directors and senior budget holders, supporting decision-making through robust financial analysis and commercial insight. Leading the budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting processes for your business area, ensuring timely and accurate financial information. Reviewing management accounts, journals and financial reporting prepared by the wider team, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy. Supporting the development of business cases, income projections and financial modelling to inform strategic initiatives. Leading, mentoring and developing two direct reports, helping to strengthen business partnering capability within the team. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting and the use of financial data to support operational performance. Supporting finance transformation initiatives and contributing to future systems and reporting improvements where required.
