Selling and booking high end luxury travel is more than just looking at fancy hotels all day. It’s a specialised, niche area of travel that requires extensive travel industry knowledge, a superb focus on customer service and an ability to make sure your clients feel like they’re VIP’s, no matter what. The position of Team Leader in Luxury Travel is an ideal opportunity to take your first steps into managing people from a position of an experienced Senior Travel Consultant. You’ll still be responsible for building up and looking after your own portfolio of UHNW clients (don’t worry, there’s plenty of opportunity for you to have access to potential clients) but you’ll also have the additional responsibility of being a part of the management team. Working in their sociable HQ, you’ll be liaising with your clients to book all forms of travel from private villas to 5* hotels, personal chauffeurs and much more. You’ll build close relationships with suppliers such as airlines and hotels and you’ll refine and solidify your client base over time. Team Leader, Luxury Travel - what we’re looking for: Travel industry experience in reservations - this can be luxury leisure, tailor made or corporate travel (you’ll really need to have your finger on the pulse of the industry). Ideally you’ll have had the opportunity to mentor/supervise more junior members of staff in a previous role. You’ll have used a GDS system to book air travel and hotels You’ll be motivated, pro-active and target driven.
